Tucson Electric Power – 2MW Solar PV System

About

Utilities are at the center of solar deployment. As the owners and gatekeepers of the electric grid, utilities control the playing field on which solar installations happen. Innovative utilities recognize the tremendous opportunity this presents and are taking advantage. Using solar to diversify their resource base, connect with customers, and create new business opportunities, these utilities are leading the way in developing the grid of the future.

The Solar Roadmap provides guidance to participating utilities by assessing their existing programs and policies and highlighting opportunities to become more involved in local solar deployment. You’ll find templates and case studies from other utilities with successful solar programs to make taking action easy. Sample materials include process-related documents such as interconnection forms, educational materials for contractors and customers for use in outreach campaigns, information on utility-driven solar finance vehicles such as on-bill-finance, and case studies from community solar programs. This content is delivered to participating utilities via a customized Roadmap – view a sample here to discover what a typical Roadmap entails.

Interested utilities are invited to Contact the Solar Roadmap team to receive a free assessment and participate in this program. In the meantime, you can read a success story from a previous utility participant or browse our solar resource library.
